If you don’t ask….you won’t get
There are a number of organisations that provide funding opportunities to not- for- profit sporting organisations. If funding schemes are so readily available then why don’t more clubs access them?
- Little or no knowledge of the schemes on offer
- No relationship with your local Department of Communities Sport and Recreation representative
- Lack of confidence in completing applications
- Applications being declined in the past
- Lack of lateral thinking in the blending of a number of funding schemes
- Turnover of volunteers
- Not identified in the clubs Strategic Plan resulting in the absence of long term planning
LucasSport offers advice and assistance in the completion of funding applications. Here are some you should be aware of….
