LucasSport is a sports consultancy business that was created by Luke Wyatt. It’s objective is to provide consultation services that enable non for profit Clubs and Associations reach their aspirations and goals through realistic planning and sound management practices.

Educated in Toowoomba, Luke enjoyed an extensive and successful career with Westpac Banking Corporation before becoming a full time sports administrator.

In 1993 he joined Queensland Rugby Union and administrated the sport in both amateur and professional environments. His responsibilities ranged from the Queensland Reds to the diehards of rugby participating in Premier, Schools, Juniors and Queensland Country competitions. As head of the Community Rugby Department he was responsible for the administration, coaching and development of in excess of 50,000 registered participants.

In 2007 he accepted a role as CEO of Netball Queensland and in addition to the responsibilities of ensuring the long term sustainability of Queensland’s largest participant sport oversaw the successful induction of the Queensland Firebirds into the inaugural ANZ Championships. Other appointments include Rugby Manager for the 2003 Rugby World Cup as well as the management of major events on behalf of the Australian Rugby Union. He holds Certificate IV qualifications in Small Business Management (SBM) and Training and Assessment (TAA).

Luke is a Board Member of the Sunshine Coast Sports Federation and a Life Member of the highly successful Sunnybank Rugby Union Club.
